Let's lay out a theory: Jared Leto has perfected the art of...being Jared Leto. Over the back half of—gulp—last decade, the actor fell into a beautiful rhythm: the long, flowing hair of Jesus himself, a technicolor dreamfit (almost always from Gucci) to match, and typically some outrageous piece of headgear to top the whole thing off. Having such a dialed-in brand allows Leto to get away with fits that others could not—but Leto isn't trying anything weird, he is simply advancing a style he's diligently carved out for years.

Today's Big Fit of the Day is proof that the grand Jared Leto experiment is paying off. In a black floppy hat, purple pants with flared legs borrowed from another era, a colorful floral shirt layered underneath a double-breasted jacket worn open with caution fully flung into the wind, and gold heeled boots, Leto looks perfectly himself. He's as in his element as a suburban dad wearing faded jeans and a T-shirt, except he's doing it in runway-grade fashion. He is Jared Leto, and all is well.
