Our biggest problem with smartwatches right now? It's not whether or not we want one; rather, it's which one we want to commit to. Well, Movado has officially made that decision more difficult with the release of the Museum Sport Motion, above, that fuses everything their known for (elegant design, quality timepieces) with technology that addresses modern guys' daily needs. To get there, the storied Swiss watchmaker teamed up with Silicon Valley’s Fullpower Technologies, Inc. to develop an iOS and Android-friendly app called MotionX-365 that, among many things, has sleeptracker sleep monitoring, sleep cycle alarms, an automatically updated world clock, and get-active alerts. Oh, and a battery that won't quit before two years of use are up. The company is also releasing a second, equally smart model, Movado BOLD Motion, that's powered by HP technology.

The Movado BOLD Motion smartwatch

Movado joins a growing list of other true watch brands getting in on the smartwatch game. After last week's launch around the Tag Heuer Connected, Movado's Motion timepieces is a clear signal that the traditional watch world is finally evolving. It's a win for every stylish guy's wrist, because if there's one thing that's stopped us from pulling the smartwatch trigger before, it was that design took a backseat to the needs of some tiny motherboards. Now that these new wearables look, well, more appealingly wearable, we expect to see even more bold moves by smartwatch designer in the coming months.
