The fall-winter 2023 men’s fashion season—three weeks of nonstop runway shows in London, Florence, Milan, and Paris—was a grand tour of fits. Thousands of them. But a select few ensembles unveiled in front of our global team of fashion and style editors truly blew us away. We were drawn, in particular, to a multitude of diverse design flourishes and aesthetic arguments. Like the tenderness of a pillow-like coat at Prada. The wonky styling of a mohair sweater at Magliano. The clean formality at Saint Laurent. The madcap layering at Margiela. If there are any through lines to our favorite looks from this season, it’s that the ideas behind them came through loud and clear. Here we present the loudest and clearest, chosen by our edit squad. And stayed tuned, because New York Fashion Week is right around the corner.

Giorgio Armani doesn't fall in and out of fashion. Over a career that spans almost five decades, and at the spectacular age of 88, he makes clothes that everybody wants, all of the time, every time.
