Donald Trump is not content to destroy the United States in one way. No. Where other monsters might have found that giving a depressingly large percentage of the population permission to express their racism would do enough harm to a nation, Donald Trump said no. And marrying that racism and bigotry with rampant financial corruption that is so bald that it should consider whatever treatment Donald is using on his head? Still not enough. Adding a conspiracy with Russia AND A WHOLE OTHER CONSPIRACY TO COVER THE FIRST CONSPIRACY WITH RUSSIA? He felt there was still more to ruin! Gut health care! Make it harder to go to school! Force us to put our hopes in Lindsay Graham! And just when it seemed like there was no more country left to destroy, Donald Trump goes to NATO and meets with foreign leaders, whom he insults, but who tell him how important the Paris climate agreement is to the world's future. Trump's response?

Well, according to Axios, it's two (tiny) middle fingers to future generations.

President Trump has privately told multiple people, including EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt, that he plans to leave the Paris agreement on climate change, according to three sources with direct knowledge.

...

Pulling out of Paris is the biggest thing Trump could to do unravel Obama's climate policies. It also sends a stark and combative signal to the rest of the world that working with other nations on climate change isn't a priority to the Trump administration.

I wish I was kidding, but I feel like Donald Trump is going to hold the planet hostage before he gives up power. I don't care how deep the scandals go, this is a man who seems petty and vengeful and old. He seems to destroy things for the sake of destroying them. The king of short term thinking. I want to hope against hope that he changes his mind, but I've learned that the Trump administration is where optimism goes to die.
