Newly minted gold medalist Chloe Kim is a real one, wise beyond her years. When the 17-year-old American snowboarder isn't wrecking her peers in the halfpipe, contorting and twisting and writing up new laws of gravity on the fly, she's doing normal teen stuff, like tweeting about the particulars of her snacking habits, sometimes in the middle of competition.

She is the rare entity that makes Twitter good, which in itself deserves a gold medal.

On Monday in Pyeongchang, Kim basically had the Olympic halfpipe competition locked up after her first of three runs, scoring a 93.75 on a run that included a frontside 1080 followed immediately by a cab 720. (In other words: some real Tony Hawk's Pro Skater shit.) From there, none of her peers really came close to touching her—China's Jiayu Liu had a shot but fell in her third and final run—essentially gifting Kim a victory lap for her third and final run. She could have cruised.

But nope! Chloe Kim did not take it easy. Instead, Kim put on her headphones and went out to score a 98.25 in a run that included back-to-back 1080s, which theoretically opened a small wormhole into another dimension. And she did it, according to ESPN, while listening, "she thinks," to "MotorSport," the slapper from Migos, Nicki Minaj, and Cardi B:

Kim plugged in her music—she said she thinks she was listening to "MotorSport" on that run, "Paparazzi" on her first—dropped in, launched a sky-high method, and then stomped back-to-back 1080s, making her the first woman to do so in Olympic competition. She didn't score a 100, but her 98.25 beat her previous score, which was what she was aiming to do all along.

Chloe Kim, tweeter of ice cream thoughts and listener of Migos, is an Olympic gold medalist, and by a phenomenal margin. Chloe Kim is the American dream.
