Wait, Was the Vin Diesel-The Rock Beef a Publicity Stunt the Whole Time?

The universe was thrown out of order earlier this month when Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson posted an Instagram caption criticizing one of the members of his Fast & Furious family. Not only was it shocking to see someone from the tight-knit cast call out another actor, the caption’s intrigue grew exponentially when reports surfaced that Johnson was calling out none other than franchise linchpin Vin Diesel.

Diesel and The Rock? Hating each other? This would destroy the very backbone of a movie franchise that sells love over everything else, except maybe ridiculous stunts. Fortunately, our lives may soon begin making sense again: Life & Style is reporting that not only is the Rock-Diesel beef mostly a publicity stunt, but the two action stars will settle their largely fake feud in a WWE match.

The news can only be properly reacted to with two specific words: "Holy" and "shit." The Rock hitting Diesel with a Rock Bottom? Vin making his entrance to the ring to "See You Again?" A wrestling match between Diesel and The Rock would not only make me shell out 60 bucks for a pay-per-view, it would absolutely make me more hyped to see Fast 8.

WWE matches should really be the only way celebrities settle beefs. Vin and Dwayne can be the undercard to T-Swift and Kim K.
