Well, it happened. America jumped off the ledge. We had our Brexit moment. A giant percentage of the country decided to pick the inexperienced racist demagogue over the very experienced former Secretary of State. My reaction? AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH...(and then just continue this into infinity). That's why right now we need someone, anyone, who can capture what this feels like. Wise and eloquent words from an election that has given us so little wisdom. In the coming days, we'll need as much insight and intelligence as we can get to guide us out of what could very well end up being dark times. We'll need to come together and find a way forward for love and positivity. We'll need to figure out how to protect each other and fight for what this country is supposed to mean. And I know that I'll be turning to people like Van Jones for that kind of leadership.
