Love—and all of its beautiful and, at times, tricky trappings—is different for everyone. So GQ enlisted people on the front lines of the culture to share what love feels like to them. To start, our March cover stars exemplify what it means to be in a modern power couple: Megan Rapinoe and Sue Bird, Naomi Osaka and Cordae, and Ciara and Russell Wilson.

Sometimes love is more complicated than not, as former politician Andrew Gillum and his wife, R. Jai, show in an intimate and revealing story about moving their marriage past a very public scandal.
