Barack Obama appeared on The Late Show last night, sitting down with Stephen Colbert in a pre-taped bit for a mock job interview. Colbert, in his office-manager Randy character, peppered the president with questions about his résumé to prepare him for life outside the Oval Office. What followed was largely a roll call of accomplishments, as President Obama highlighted some of the more successful moments from his eight years in the White House, including shout-outs for Obamacare, First Lady Michelle, and Seal Team Six.

While it's always fun to see Obama embrace his inner comedian, the lighthearted segment was not all too different from Jimmy Fallon's softball interviews with Trump—the major difference being Obama is not running for president, nor is he a racist who has bragged about sexual assault on tape, among other despicable acts. The bit ended with Colbert asking Obama—who can't endorse a candidate on network television—to choose between two snacks, a high-nutrient fiber bar or a shriveled tangerine covered in golden retriever hair. The joke was certainly on the nose, but damn, that tangerine really did look like Donald Trump.
