Here’s the Westworld Trailer You Missed While Making Popcorn Before the GoT Finale

Prior to the series finale of Game of Thrones on Sunday night, HBO teased viewers with a season three trailer for Westworld. For the unfamiliar, Westworld is a game show during which viewers participate by going on Twitter and guessing whether each character is a real human being or an increasingly sentient robot. (I am only half-joking. It's a good watch!)

The newest season, set to air in 2020, appears to star Aaron Paul, and I refuse to punctuate this sentence with "bitch," no matter how tempting it may be. It is set outside of a dystopian amusement park—or is it???—and Paul, who is definitely a human—or is he???—is longing for something, anything that makes him feel alive. He blows up a bank with Lena Waithe and then wanders the streets doing other crimes. At one point, Kid Cudi makes an appearance in prison garb. Kid Cudi is definitely going to be a robot.

The trailer concludes with a sighting of Dolores (a.k.a. Evan Rachel Wood), which is the only sign that there will be some form of continuity between season two and season three. Dolores is already an outdated name in 2019, and that's doubly true in a distant future, so hopefully she decides to go by Wyatt, or at least a cooler-sounding alias.
